I found an old Roofing Hatchet Head and repurposed it as a camp axe. Even Sharpened the Nail puller notch so I can cut cordage and may see if it works as a gut hook too.

I've crawled over these mountains a few dozen times (my profile pic is this Mt during a rain storm stuck on an knifes edge) and always love seeing peoples first impressions! I've only once been brave and hot enough to jump in that lower lake so Props! After all that wasn't spring water but freshly melted snow! The trail head you were originally driving to was also the start of the summit trail for 14'er Mt. Sneffels just above tree line, hence why it took you on that 'jeep road' so high. Smart to play it safe on the slick rock up there, I've been in a few jams and each year people die from sliding off the trails. The way you ended up taking is far more fun IMHO anyways🐐

Idn what camera you have but that is a pretty background. I watch many campers Bushcraft etc. but wow. That is pretty. It stinks that it stinks for you, but maybe it's worth the reward. ❤

I have one that has gimbal problems. Sometimes, I can see it shake like something bangs into the camera. Afterwards, the gimbal will lean on an angle.

This one time (not at band camp) I was in my friend's son's garage. He had a pet white owl. They walked out of the garage & I bent down to look at something. As soon as I bent down the owl latched onto my back. Scared the 💩 out of me😂

When making quesadiilas i always put my fillers on one half of the tortilla, then fold the empty half over on top. Makes flipping effortless. Nothing falls out. Ive done the exact same thing you did lol and someone showed me correct way. Just thought id share
